| |
The DispoCast Tape is made of knitted(tape) Fiberglass or Polyester substrate impregnated with water-activated polyurethane resin. The Fabric used in the construction of the roll is stretchable in all directions, allowing easy application without any tucks or folds. The curing time is between 3-4 minutes, and become weight bearing approximately within 20 minutes. |
 |
Features: |
| Unique Resin Technology |
The unique resin formulation minimizes color and resin"bleeding" on gloves and clothing during application. This high quality knitted substrate and unique resin formula provides smooth and clean molding.Once set, you will have a strong, laminated cast, meeting the required hardness. |
 |
| X-Ray Translucent |
Both DispoCast Polyester and Fiberglass substrate provide excellent X-Ray translucency. This makes it easy to see the progress of the fracture druring the healing process. |
 |
| Cast Durability |
The high quality of DispoCast Design allows the cast to be less prone to cracking, even in high stress areas, such as heel and edge near the toes. |
 |
| Environmental Solution |
Made by 100% Polyester substrate. After use waste can be burn instead burying in ground. |
 |
| Less Dust |
Both the Fiberglass and Polyester formulas produce much less dust during the removal of the cast. This helps lower the possibility to the patient breathing the dust, causing an allergic reaction. The lower dust also prevents the patient's skin to become itchy,or cause a rash. |
|
| Better Air Flow with no Fur |
The technology in DispoCast allows for good air flow allowing the skin to breathe. This also allows for faster drying if moistrues gets in between the cast and skin, preventing a reaction or odors from occuring.Used tempered substrate to prevent allergic, itching, sharpe nails to pin point on patient skin. |
 |
| Lighter and much Stronger |
DispoCast is 1/5 times weight and 1/3 times thicker than traditional plaster bandages;

with the skin and cast equipment if done immediately. |
| 3) If the bandaged casts are in the wet state, the casts must be dried carefully by a kind of
Towel or portable Hairdryer, for prolonged or too frequent wetting or ineffective drying,
can lead to skin maceration or other complications. |
