The Dispo Splint synthetic splint is manufactured from knitted fiberglass substrate impregnated with a water-activated polyurethane resin.There are 2 kinds of structure,1 is made with 8 layers of knitted fiberglass,2 is made with 1 layer of non-woven fabric for incore coated by polyurethane.The result is a strong,durable,lightweight,comfortable,radiolucent and porous splint. |

| Hydrophobic nature of inner white pad |
Dispo Splint white pad dries upon contact with the patient's skin to provide a very dry and comfortable feeling for the patient. |
| Hydrophilic nature of outer white pad |
Dispo Splint white pad on the outside has a hydrophilic nature,and it allows the substrate to be wetted easily. |
| Neat Appearance |
Side of Dispo Splint pad is sealded by ultrasonic wave to give neater and smarter appearance than conventional sealing methods such as sewing or gluing methods. |
| Strength |
Dispo Splint has superior strength than generally required for Splints. |

Storage: |
1)Unopened Dispo Splint should be stored at a room temperature between 15 to 30 Celsius. |
2) Higher or lower temperature may affect the shelf life of three years from the manufacturing date.Care should be taken to avoid punching and damaging the pouch, which will cause the premature hardening of the product (for the roll type splint it should be used up within one month after resealing the pouch.) |
Precautions: |
1) Each roll should be gently squeezed prior to opening to check suitability for application.The unopened product should be soft and flexible. Do not use the product that feels hard(for the roll type splint if the edge is hardened after resealing,cut off the hardened part and use remaining soft part) . |
| 2) Wearing surgical gloves don't need to handle the splint. But the polyurethane resin could adhere firmly to unprotected skin,hair and clothing,which may cause a mild irritation. So wearing protective gloves are recommended to apply and use alcohol or acetone before to remove the polymer. |
| 3) An uncomfortable increase of heat can be caused during hardening by immersing in water at temperature above 27 Celsius. |
| 4) All application should be followed instructions and directions of a doctor or qualified medical professional. |
| 5) Products should be stored out of reach of children. |
